HOW FLORIDA DEF GOT STARTED

Florida DEF is a company that provides a dedicated Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) replenishment service onsite into diesel powered truck fleets through its unique TRUCK 2 TRUCK™ system.

Since 2010, when the first trucks were manufactured to accept DEF, the demand for the product has steadily grown. As truck fleets turn over, more new units will be replaced with DEF diesel motors. Currently, we sell the product in 2.5-gallon jugs, 55-gallon drums, 330-gallon totes, and first in the industry TRUCK 2 TRUCK™ replenishment to the end users.

​Florida DEF is Florida’s main dedicated mobile DEF replenishment company, able to provide service to every size diesel vehicle with our TRUCK 2 TRUCK™ replenishing capabilities.

Florida DEF was founded for company owners/fleet managers to manage their diesel exhaust fluid requirements and provide on-site DEF management as often as needed. Florida DEF was created to reliably serve all clients’ needs. Through friendly and knowledgeable team members we provide a quality product as well as manage usage and cost.

Day to day operations include the supply, direct delivery and intelligent maintenance and supervision of DEF, in addition to creating long-lasting relationships with each and every client.

Approximately 3 percent of a vehicle’s fuel consumption is the amount of DEF required to keep the engine from shutting down by the motor’s computers. The operator must add the fluid in an external tank that is near the fuel tank, on a regular basis. The product is basically one-third pure ammonia (urea) and two-thirds ionized water.
